Hair Shampooing

Your shampoo is made up of different substances and elements but if it does not fulfill the basic requirement of providing a healthy hair wash or creates hair thinning then it is a futile attempt. Your hair styling method is partly responsible for your overall beauty along with the way you do your hair brushing. It is also very important that you be aware of what’s right and what’s not while selecting the shampoo to suit you.

The basic shampoo requirements include:

  1. Your shampoo should have the ability to cleanse your oily hair.
  2. It should easily drive away the sebum, debris and dirt from your hair.
  3. Should perform equally well in all types of water. Whether you wash it in warm, cold or lukewarm water your shampoo should not react on your hair.
  4. It should be gentle enough on other parts of the body. It should not act as a harsh or rude substance to irritate your eyes, skin or scalps.
  5. Your shampoo should have the ability to leave your hair in the basic condition it was in before the shampoo was applied. In other words, it should not damage or affect your hair in any way by applying shampoo.

Hair shampooing steps

  1. Conduct a good research before you select your hair products and find about dandruff treatment. Once you know what suits your hair then you can buy the right shampoo and conditioner for your hair type that supports your hair health goals.
  2. Read labels on the hair care products and gain sufficient information of what the product contains. Also ask advice from hair care professionals to be saved from any hair damage.
  3. Brush your hair before getting it wet. This helps to prevent tangling which saves pain and hair damage.
  4. Wet the hair and scalp thoroughly. Pour about a quarter-size amount of shampoo into your palms and rub them together.
  5. Massage shampoo onto the scalp and work downwards towards the tips of your hair. Evenly distribute the shampoo by gently running your fingers through your hair.
  6. Rinse the hair thoroughly until all shampoo is removed.
  7. Keep your hair tired for about half an hour with a soft cloth and then gently dust and wipe it well.
  8. If you want you can dry your hair with a hair dryer but do so when your hair is extremely wet.

Hair conditioning steps

  1. Pour about a dime-size amount of condition to palms of hands.
  2. Apply conditioner to hair starting at the ends, and gently moving upward. Let sit three to five minutes.
  3. Wash out the conditioner thoroughly from your hair. Follow by drying and you are ready to go!
