Hair extensions are a gorgeous way to admire your hair and give yourself a new look. There are many different methods used for attaching a hair extension according to the person doing your hair. It would be best to talk with your beautician before deciding on which method is best for you. Some hair may not be strong enough for all methods. Now, let’s look at these different methods for hair extensions:
Ring
With process there is already a metal ring attached to the hair where the hair extension can be easily applied and can be used over again. There are His and Her Rings for this process.
Tube
This is a new method that is catching on fast. It is similar to the Ring where there is already a plastic tube attached to the hair where the hair extension can be easily applied. You can use the His and Her Extension Iron to apply.
Clip Ons
With this method the extension hair is already cut and the clips are added to the weft. All you need to clip it to your natural hair and off you go.
Braiding
With this process the hair extension is braided with your own hair using a variety of braids such as tree braid, braid weave, individuals, cornrow, and French braid. Each hair stylist will have their own unique braid that they prefer to use.
Weave
With a weave the person creating your hairstyle will make tracks on your head and sew on the hair extensions. This is the most popular way to add hair extensions.
Bonding
With this method a bonding glue is placed on the extension and then is applied to the root of your hair. This is one of the easiest ways to apply a hair extension and the also the easiest to remove. To remove you only need to use the glue remover that accompanies the glue.
Healthy hair care is not simply about which brand of shampoo and conditioner you use, but also involves maintaining your physical and mental health. Do not use two-in-one shampoo and conditioner products.
Shampoo is designed to have one effect on your hair, while conditioner is supposed to do another and one application can not do both. Shampoo opens the pores or scales on the hair follicles and cleans away any build up of oil, dirt and pollutants. Conditioner closes or smoothes the follicles down, filling them with clean moisture and protection. It is important to do both, regardless of your hair type.
Be extremely wary of products that leave a chemical buildup on your hair. If you avoid the above-mentioned chemicals, this should not happen. Some brands will encase your hair follicles in a thin silicone coating, which may appear wonderful at first, but builds up over time and leaves your hair brittle and resistant to moisture. When it comes to using the hair dryer, try to leave this for special occasions also. When you do use it, make sure your hair is wet and stop using it once it is dry. The reason for this is because it’s this drying of the already dry hair that causes the most damage.
If you can treat your hair with a deep moisturizing product once a week, you will definitely see the benefits. If you only worry about styling your hair for special occasions, you will have fewer split-ends and more natural re-growth. Hairdressers have been known to refuse to attempt to apply any product to hair that has long-term buildup, because they know results will either be uneven or completely ineffective.
If you want your hair to be at its best, a balanced diet full of healthy, natural foods is absolutely essential! Fatty, greasy, processed and sweet foods lead to toxic bodies and oily, fine, limp and dull hair. You may have noticed when people either put on a lot of weight or are unhealthy and skinny, their hair loses its body and thickness and also changes color.
A true secret to healthy hair care is not to go all-out every day. Try to give your hair regular breaks from suffocating products such as gel, hairspray, and mouse.

Shampoo and Conditioner
Always use a shampoo specifically designed for your hair type. Make sure your shampoo is mild and cleanses your hair well. Massage the scalp and rinse your hair thoroughly with lukewarm water. Apply a conditioner every time and let it penetrate deeply into your hair and then rinse thoroughly.
Towel dry
After washing your hair, wrap your hair in a towel to remove the excess water but don’t rub your curly hair because you may easily damage the cuticles. Let your hair dry wrapped in a towel for approximately 5/ 10 minutes.
Comb your hair
Use a wide toothed comb to comb your wet hair gently. Always begin combing in small sections, at the ends of the hair and continue combing to the scalp, when detangling.
Heat protecting product
Applying a heat protecting product is a must when blow drying or straightening your hair. Apply it onto clean and damp hair lightly to each section of your hair.
Styling product
Apply a styling product to help you manage and control your curls. Apply the styling product (mousse, gel, foam, spray) throughout your hair, using a comb to distribute it evenly.
Divide your hair
Divide your hair into four sections using clips. This way it will be easier for you to blow-dry your hair, especially it is curly. Gently comb each section of your hair.
Start blow drying
Take one section of your hair and keep working on it. First start blow drying to the roots and make sure your blow dryer is set on low or medium heat. When using a diffuser tilt your head so that your hair falls into the diffuser. Hold it close to your head. Gently run your fingers through your hair and shake out the curls.
Apply a hairspray
Apply a blast of hairspray to keep your curls shiny and droop-free.
Split ends are caused by coloring and perms. How to get rid of split ends? The best thing to do at this point is to cut hair that has split before it reaches the top. Better yet, contact a trusted hair stylist that could remove the unwanted hair. They could also advise you to use hair moisturizers, knowing that hair breaks because of the lack of moisture. Since we’re talking about moisturizers, water would be the best moisturizer suggested. From inside out, water as moisturizer is effective because again, damaged hair could simply be a case of poor health and hair care practices.
Split end weakens the hair strands and make it susceptible to splitting at the tips. Rubbing the tips of your hair after a bath also causes split ends. The proper way to do it is blot your hair and comb it with a wide-toothed comb. Too much brushing can also lead to split ends. Other causes would be the use of heated appliances. Aside from drying the hair, it makes it brittle to the point of splitting at the end. There are protective hair products that could be applies when using heated appliances. Do you use elastic bands when tying your hair? Most of the time, because they are so tight against the hair, you tend to pull your hair from it. Forcing and freeing your hair from the elastic band or any other hair accessory is what causes the split ends. They simply damage the hair.
Of course, your overall health will affect your hair. Many times, damaged hair or hair that can be easily damaged is caused by dry scalp. And dry scalp is an indication of low fat and vitamin intake. Eating fruits and vegetables and drinking milk actually enhances hair more than the perm does.
